May 4th, 2014. Movie screening – Kamienie na Szaniec

Polish Cultural Fundation in Boston has a pleasure to invite you for a screening of a movie Kamienie na Szaniec kamienie-na-szaniec-ksiazka based on a legendary book by Aleksander Kaminski. The movie, directed by Robert Glinski, has been a spectacular success in Poland (500.000 viewers during first two weeks). The story describes the small acts of sabotage carried out by the Polish underground scout movement, the Gray Ranks. It portrays slightly fictionalized account of real lives of Gray Rank members (known by their noms-de-guerre Rudy, Zośka, Alek), with the final act centred around the Operation Arsenal.


EXHIBIT HONORING Blessed Pope John Paul II

In honor of the forthcoming canonization in April of Blessed John Paul II, Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish is pleased to announce that it will host a special photographic exhibit titled “John Paul II the Holy Man: To the ends of the earth”. The exhibit is being provided by the Polish Cultural Foundation, Boston and will be presented at John Paul II Hall Parish Center. It consists of 80 large panels illustrating Blessed John Paul II’s life and pontificate. This exhibit has been viewed by audiences in 10 states and over 30 locations including New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC.



On October 12, 2013, the Polish Cultural Foundation (PCF) celebrated its 15th anniversary at the John Paul II Hall at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish Center in South Boston. At the event, activities of the PCF for the last 15 years were presented in the form of an exhibit and in writing (see report below). All of our Board Directors and Friends (PCF helpers) received special recognition. Later in the evening, a charitable ball honoring the 15th anniversary of the PCF took place which was very well attended (150 persons) and raised over 3,000 dollars for blind children in Laski, Poland.
